Plant based packaging supports the environment and your business
Benefits of plant based packaging
Environment benefits of using compostable packaging are substantial. It requires less carbon to produce, reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill and produces no toxins as it breaks down. The business benefits are sometimes overlooked, but are just as significant. Eco-friendly packaging not only reflects well on your overall company image, but also suggests a higher quality product. More and more people are acting on their concerns for the environment by ‘going green’. For this reason, plant-based packaging is likely to expand your customer base.

Bioplastic
Polylactic Acid (PLA)
Polylactic acid (PLA), also known as Bioplastic is a biodegradable polyester derived from renewable plant materials like corn starch. Bioplastic has a carbon footprint up to 75% less than traditional packaging materials and is now commercially composted every day all around the world. Bioplastic is used in our Cold cups, Cutlery, Deli containers and many more packaging products.
Bagasse
Sugarcane Residue
Bagasse is a dry fibrous byproduct of sugar production. Leftover sugarcane stalks are collected, processed and using high temperatures, molded into various container shapes. Suitable for hot, wet or oily foods, Bagasse is microwave and freezer friendly, sturdy and is naturally grease resistant. We supply clam-shells, burger boxes, takeaway food trays and more.
NatureFlex
Cellulose derived from wood pulp
NatureFlex is a home compostable clear film made from cellulose found naturally in wood pulp. Cellulose is one of the most naturally abundant organic materials. It is used for assembly of our cutlery packs, for clear windows in food bags and also is also heat sealable. NatureFlex is microwavable, grease resistant and we now offer NatureFlex on a roll.
